This is my story

Hi, my name is Shay and I wanted to first thank you for checking out my small business. This journey started in March of 2023 when I decided to take a leap of faith and leave my full-time job to spend more time with my two young children. As the story often goes, I felt myself craving a creative outlet and some good adult conversation. The Moms who get it, get it.

 

In June 2023 I took a trip to visit my family in Georgia. At the time, my cousin owned a clothing boutique and was offering Permanent Jewelry. It was on that trip that I got my first permanent bracelet and was instantly obsessed. I came home and immediately got to work. I launch Heirloom Jewelry Bar in August 2023 and haven't looked back since.

When I'm not at markets, pop-ups, or working late into the night on Heirloom you can find me spending quality time with my husband and two little babes, volunteering at school, making dinner or binging a true crime documentary. 

 

I'm so thankful for Heirloom because it has given me the flexible schedule my family needs, while allowing me to fill that tiny void SAHMs often have. On top of that, I love meeting all of my clients and being able to be a part of creating lifelong memories and make them cute with a new piece of jewelry. My hope is that some day my kids will have memories of seeing me take risks to follow my dreams and are inspired to do the same.
